Selam haldi is turmeric from the Salem belt of Tamil Nadu, known for its rich orange-yellow colour and warm aroma. Gramiko Haldi Powder is ground fresh from cleaned, dried turmeric fingers with no added colour and no fillers.

How to use it
Add to hot oil or ghee at the start of tadka for dal, sabzi, curries and rice. Also used in haldi doodh, pickles, marinades and for roti dough. About ¼ to ½ tsp is enough for a family-size dish.
Storage
Keep the box tightly closed, or transfer to an airtight jar. Store in a cool and dry place, away from sunlight. Always use a dry spoon. Best before date is printed on the pack.
