Coconut oil, the old-fashioned way
Wood-pressing crushes dried coconut slowly in a wooden ghani, keeping the temperature low so the natural coconut aroma stays. Gramiko Coconut Oil is 100% pure coconut oil — nothing added.
How we make it
- Copra: Clean, dried coconut, farm-sourced.
- Press: Wooden ghani at low speed so the oil never overheats.
- Filter: Natural settling and cloth filtration only.
- Fill: Small batches, bottled fresh.
How to use it
Cooking and frying — especially South Indian and Kerala-style dishes, sabzi, tadka and snacks. Also used traditionally for hair oiling and skin massage.
What you will notice
- Clear, light colour and a gentle coconut aroma
- Sets solid in cold weather and turns liquid when warmed — both are normal
- Natural sediment may settle — no filtering agents are used
Storage
Cool, dry place, tightly capped, dry spoon only. Best used within 6 months of opening.
Allergen note: Contains coconut.
Gramiko is farm-direct. Every batch is traceable back to the field it came from.
