Peeli sarso ka tel, the traditional way
Yellow mustard seeds are crushed slowly in a wooden ghani at low speed, giving an oil with the warmth of mustard but a softer bite. Gramiko Wood Pressed Yellow Mustard Oil is 100% pure — nothing added.
How we make it
- Seed: Clean yellow mustard seeds, farm-sourced.
- Press: Wooden ghani at low speed so the oil never overheats.
- Filter: Natural settling and cloth filtration only.
- Pack: Small batches, packed fresh.
How to use it
Use for everyday tadka, sabzi, dal, frying, marinades and achar (pickles). Heat it until it just begins to smoke and cool slightly before cooking for the smoothest flavour. Also used for traditional body massage.
What you will notice
- Light golden colour with a milder aroma than black mustard oil
- Softer pungency that suits daily cooking
- Natural sediment may settle — no filtering agents are used
Storage
Cool, dry place, tightly capped, away from sunlight. Use a dry spoon. Best before date is printed on the pack.
Allergen note: Contains mustard.
Gramiko is farm-direct. Every batch is traceable back to the field it came from.
